"Coffee Cake" Pecan Crescent Rolls

I'm not exactly sure why, but I realized the other day that it has been YEARS since I've had a crescent roll. Being the carb-lover that I am, I have no idea how that happened. The last few weeks have been focused on fun cupcakes - balanced with some healthy meals - and the crescent roll was overlooked.

This week, I decided to correct the error of my ways and grab the "go-to" Pillsbury container while shopping for groceries this week. Of course, I love the traditional fluffy version (a little butter doesn't hurt), but this time, I wanted to give it a little twist of sweet.

Oh my goodness...the agave nectar, hint of brown sugar, and chopped pecans made these taste like the lightest version of a coffee cake you will EVER eat. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, which I like, and if you use the pre-packaged dough from the store, these are incredibly east and fast to put together.

Introduce this as your new Saturday morning breakfast treat, or make a batch when you are entertaining and setting up a buffet of delectable items. Guests will enjoy this as a sweet treat that is perfect for post-dinner enjoyment or paired with appetizers for an afternoon luncheon or tapas party.

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

I hope you will enjoy this as much as we did this week!

Until next time, I hope you enjoy your #hearthhealthhappiness!
