✨ Melanie's Philosophy
I believe sustainability offers us more, not less. More flavor from seasonal ingredients. More value from ingredients that would otherwise go to waste. More discovery of unique spices and seasonings. More freedom when readers learn to connect the dots between what we make in the kitchen, what we grow in the garden, and what impact these choices have on the world around us. I love teaching people how to source their ingredients, navigate sustainable choices, and learn the techniques that will help them discover their own beautiful, sustainable lifestyle.
A little more about me
Today, I use my background in communication, research, recipe development, and digital content strategy to create approachable vegan recipes and sustainability resources readers can trust.
Before pursuing Inspired Epicurean full time, I spent years leading digital content strategy in corporate eCommerce. That experience shaped how I research, test, and communicate recipes and sustainability topics in ways that are approachable and useful.
I live with my husband and two rescue cats in Atlanta, GA, where you'll find me either creating new goodies in the kitchen, transitioning our landscape to a native one, or watching the weather as a volunteer storm spotter with the National Weather Service.
